Common questions

What is RightLoop?

RightLoop is a routine and habit tracker for iPhone that connects everyday actions with insights from your records. Break routines into steps, track partial progress and use Home Screen widgets and Live Activities. The app supports iOS 17 or later, English and Simplified Chinese, and is free during the beta. No app account is needed: routines and history are stored locally, with no in-app analytics tracking. Apple may include local data in system backups and handles TestFlight diagnostics separately. Website applications and traffic analytics are covered in our Privacy Policy.

What kinds of routines can I use RightLoop for?

Everyday routines such as getting ready, going for a walk, focused work, winding down or keeping in touch. Start with a template or make your own, then adapt the steps to fit your life.

Can I use RightLoop if my schedule changes from day to day?

Yes. Choose a Flexible routine when you don’t want a fixed time, or use a time window as a guide. You can start outside that window and adjust your schedule as your days change.

Can I use RightLoop if I have ADHD?

Yes. You can break routines into clear steps, use timers to set aside time, and record what you tried, including partial progress. Smart Insights highlight patterns in your records for you to reflect on and adjust. RightLoop is a tool for everyday organization, not ADHD diagnosis or treatment.

Why are some steps so simple or similar?

The examples separate getting ready, starting and continuing an activity so you can see where you stopped or skipped. You don’t need that level of detail for every routine—keep only the steps you want to track or adjust separately.

What happens when I skip a step?

Your completed steps still count. Skipped steps stay in the record, so you can look back at what happened and what to change.

How can I track progress without focusing on streaks?

Look at what you did over time: days with progress, completed steps and when you started. A skipped step stays in your history instead of erasing earlier progress, giving you context for your next adjustment.

What can Smart Insights help me notice?

They can highlight changes in your recorded progress, timing and step completion—for example, starting after your planned window or completing a step you previously skipped. Add your own explanation, then decide what to try differently.

Do Smart Insights change my routine?

No. You choose the context and make any changes yourself.

Can I change my routine later?

Yes. Change the steps or schedule as your needs change. Your saved history stays connected to the plan you used at the time.

Why isn’t a Live Activity showing?

In RightLoop, open Settings and turn on Live Activities. Also check that iOS allows Live Activities for RightLoop. Automatic cards for scheduled routines require iOS 26 or later and may not appear immediately. You can still start your routine in the app.
